”The Pencil is Mightier Than the Sword”

On Wednesday 7th January 2015, the HQ of Charlie Hebdo, a French satirical newspaper was attacked, after gunmen opened fire and killed 12 people. Of those killed, were four controversial and well-known French satirical cartoonists, Stéphane Charbonnier, Georges Wolinski, Bernard Verlhac and Jean Cabut.

Being a studio full of cartoonists and animators, the shock of the news was earth-shattering for us. It all seemed incomprehensible.

Lycamobile appoints Nucco Brain

Nucco Brain, the visual storytelling studio, has been appointed by Lycamobile, the UK-based mobile phone network provider focused on affordable international calling, to create and produce the first Lycamobile full CGI broadcast advertising campaign.

The one-minute ad has been created to promote Lycamobile’s new 4G LTE plan and is being aired first in the USA, targeting the consumer market, across broadcast and online channels. After the launch in the US, the ad will be aired in the UK and to other European countries in the very near future, adapted specifically for each country’s market.
